ABOUT US

Our History
WHAT MAKES US GREAT IS STILL WHAT MAKES US GREAT.
1975
The birth of our company, Restaurants of Jamaica (ROJ), traces back to June 18, 1975. It was on this date that the Myers family, under a license from Hueblein International, officially opened the inaugural KFC restaurant situated at 170 Old Hope Road in Kingston 6.
Our Commitment
Our mission is enriching lives through the creation of exceptional meals and memorable moments for our valued customers, while simultaneously fostering remarkable career opportunities for our dedicated team. Our vision is to stand as the preferred and frequently selected restaurant brand, readily available whenever people crave a delicious meal.
The Values We Stand By:
● Always be open, honest and true
● Put the “WOW” in everything you do
● Get it done! Do what you say and own what you do
● We are family! Show respect to all
● Never stop learning and growing
● Customers are our life! Treat them right
● Love what you do and have fun doing it!
Solid Foundation
Since 1975 to the present day, ROJ has unwaveringly upheld the highest standards of quality. The KFC Add Hope Programme
Add Hope is a part of a global initiative by KFC parent company, YUM International, in partnership with the World Food Relief Programme. It supports feeding programmes that contribute to improving food security and nutrition of children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past five years KFC Jamaica’s Add Hope efforts have providing meals, and by extension, care packages and learning tools, to basic and primary level students where meals are most needed to ensure that students can focus on their early development. This injection into feeding our nation’s students have allowed thousands of needed children to access meals to allow them to be better able to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our Harvest Programme
KFC restaurants worldwide are dedicated to addressing global hunger through our Harvest Programme. This pioneering initiative, the world's first prepared food donation program, involves KFC Jamaica and KFC outlets worldwide collectively donating over seven million pounds of food annually to food banks and charitable organizations. Our focus is on nourishing people rather than filling landfills, and this aligns with our commitment as active participants in the Food Waste Reduction Alliance. Each day, all KFC Jamaica restaurants contribute unsold chicken to nearby selected homes, underscoring our ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on communities and reduce food waste.
We're in the Community
We are firmly committed to upholding our promise to be good Corporate Citizens of Jamaica. Our legacy is built on a foundation of numerous acts of kindness and benevolence. Each year we provide meals and essential school supplies, educational tools, and equipment to more than 160 kindergarten-level schools in KFC communities. We consistently respond positively to the countless requests from schools, churches, children's homes, elderly care facilities, hospitals, and various organizations across the island, supporting their special events and fundraising initiatives. This is just one of the many ways we express our gratitude to our loyal customers and contribute to the well-being of Jamaica as a whole, a loyalty that spans many years with KFC Jamaica.
