KFC Offering Up Sweet Treats to Sweeten the Deal!

Kingston, Jamaica – Tuesday, April 16, 2013: Variety is the spice of life!  KFC Jamaica continues to expand the variety of desserts available to complement their delicious menu offerings with the introduction of the ‘Sweet Treats’ line.

Freshly baked in store throughout the day, KFC cookies were introduced in March of this year in two very popular flavours, Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin.  The expansion of the dessert menu allows KFC to appeal to the sweet tooth of consumers with these crave-able treats, which are not only a hit with the younger generation, but are the delight of older adults too.

KFC originally introduced its pies in 2010 with the successful Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor, which resulted in a significant increase in dessert sales and wide spread acceptance from KFC customers. They have continued to offer a variety of flavours over the years based on consumer demand and have now introduced even more tantalizing choices made with famous brands such as Cookies'n'Cream made with Oreo, and Peanut Butter made with Reese’s.  For those with less of a passion for chocolate, Pecan and Dutch Apple have also been added the new line-up.

The new KFC cookies are attractively priced at only $45 each and the KFC pies continue to be the lowest priced of all local Quick Service Restaurants at only $195 each.  Sweet Treats are the perfect way to end a savoury KFC meal, at an affordable price.
“We are always seeking ways to ensure that the KFC experience is a great one for our valued consumers.  Something sweet is always a great way to end a great meal.  Our sweet treats make people happy and we always want to make our customers happy!”said Restaurants of Jamaica Marketing Director, Tina Myers Matalon.

Matalon noted that the addition of KFC Sweet Treats is not a limited time offer but a permanent addition to the KFC menus island wide. Treat yourself today, you deserve it!
